B. H2-Whoa Water Drawing Board

This is one of my most favorite toys in the entire world!  Especially for the little artist for your little one!  It is especially excellent for those learning to hold a 'crayon' to color.  This picture shows it best that as it dries, it starts to fade.  No mess, no fuss!  There are two sides to this board, so as one side completely dries, they can flip it over to the other side.

Everyone once in a while, the water wouldn't come out of one of the crayons.  That is after the board has been sitting there for many weeks without being used.  I fixed this by filling it back up with water and sucking the white tip trying to draw the water out.  It is important you don't let your child see you fix it this way, or else they will spend their time trying to suck the water out of what I call the crayon.
I recommend introducing this to your child between 12 and 18 months

Pros:
-No mess or fuss
-Affordable
-Promotes art!!
-Does not waste paper

Cons:
-Child may try to chew on the crayon if not supervised. NOT a choking hazard if they do.
- The tip of the crayon may need coaxing every once in a while to draw the water out if it has been unused for a long period of time.
